At the TENT next to Hello, Galena… 121 N. Commerce St. (where the public restrooms are; click for the map) Musician “Leonardo” will kick off the event. Known for the lush sounds of his guitar music, Leonardo's performances have taken him across the nation and abroad. His credits include having performed with Carlos Santana. Then, see creative arts of: Basketweaving. Painting. Pressed Flowers. Rock Art. Meet Local Artists:

• Jacquie Dyrke
  Watch local artist Jacquie Dyrke create her unique rock art. She will be painting and demonstrating how she starts with an idea and ends up with a beautiful piece of artwork that someone can display in their home.
  
  
• Mercedes Govert
  Watch local artist Mercedes Govert create pressed flower art from items grown in her garden. In addition, she will help children create their own pressed flower cards. She may even treat us to a painting lesson or two.
  
  
• Toni Klingler
  Basket and gourd artist, Toni Klingler will weave a basket before your eyes. Bring the whole family to watch and help Toni pick colors and create a basket for charity.
