Connie
Holm is a still-life and landscape artist who enjoys recreating
scenes found in nature, especially ones around the Galena, Illinois,
area. She works in pastels, watercolor and oil, and her work
is characterized by dark contrasts in color.
Her work
depicts such scenes as barns, trails through the woods, flowers,
winter scenes, and much more. Besides creating original art,
she often has prints available, as well as miniatures for desktops.
Her latest
work will be included in a children’s book slated to come out
this summer, called “When I Close My Eyes, I See Many Colors.”
Besides being the featured artist at Hello Galena, and regular
exhibitor at our shop, she also sells her work in other galleries.
In fact, she has sold her work throughout the United States.
You can see her work at Hello Galena throughout the month of
June.
Connie’s
artwork is for sale at Hello Galena, at 121 N. Commerce St.,
in Galena. Find our online map, store
