Meet Hello Galena Author & Artist: Sandra Principe

Hello Galena artist and author Sandra Principe is the author of five Karen Prince Galena Mysteries.

The series started in 2003 with Murder in Galena, followed by Murder on the Mississippi in 2005, Murder at Galena Stables in 2007 and Murder at Galena Gallery in 2009.

The fifth mystery, Murder at Galena Mansion was just released in April.

As an artist, Principe's oil paintings capture the timeless beauty of flowers closely observed. Her paintings capture a glowing light, illuminating the exquisite coloration and delicate form of the orchids and other flowers she paints.

In addition to being available for sale at Hello Galena, Principe's paintings are included in numerious private and corporate collections. Her work has been shown in solo shows across the country, from West Palm Beach and Vero Beach, Florida to Laguana Beach, California.

Sandra retired from her Chicago law practice in 1996 to live, write and paint in the Galena countryside.
