Third
Annual Market House Square Art Festival to Take Place
Saturday and Sunday, August 16 and 17
The third
annual Market House Square Art Festival will take place on Commerce
Street in Galena on Aug. 16 and 17. This juried art fair will
feature art from around the region, such as photography, glass
blown art, handmade jewelry, collage, wooden sculpture and toys,
and more.
The first
day of the art fair, Saturday, Aug. 16, will start at 10 a.m.
and will be held until 5 p.m. Sunday’s show will be held from
10 a.m. to 4 p.m. There will be demonstrations for the public
to enjoy, and all art will be marked for sale.
Many of
Galena’s local artists are signed up to participate and will
display their latest work. Art will be available in a wide variety
of price ranges, so that everyone can take a piece of art home.
The show is free to the public and will be held next to the
Market House and Hello Galena. Find driving
