First-Ever Book Signing by P. J. Hartenaus Slated for Hello

Author
and teacher P.J. Hartenaus
will be signing copies of her newly released book about the
Belden School called, “The Belden Boy.” P.J. will be at the
local artist co-op, Hello Galena, where she sells her books.
The book signing will be held on Saturday, April 18 from
1 p.m. to 3 p.m. Please stop by to meet the author and have
her autograph your copy of her book for you.
This new
book chronicles the adventures of Peter McDugal, a youngster
growing up in the late late 1800s in the Galena Territory. Readers
interested in a preview can learn more about Peter on P.J.'s
web site where she describes
her work, "His adventures during this time are very much
like those of young folks today, yet a different time and place.
Belden School, a one-room rock school house, lies in the hills
of this unglaciated area, and is the center of his life-almost
like a friend. Read about Peter's childhood days in and around
Belden School, and about his friendships good and bad. Discover
