Hello Galena! Calls for Artists Applications for Art Fair
The 5th
Annual Market House Square Festival welcomes artists and artisans
age 18 and older, and is accepting early bird applications through
March 15 with a discounted price for the festival, which will
be Saturday and Sunday Aug. 14-15.

The 5th
Annual Market House Square Art Festival is a juried outdoor
show of art and fine crafts sponsored by the Galena Cultural
Arts Alliance and Hello Galena! Artist Co-op. The art festival
is held on the grounds of the State of Illinois historic Market
House Site in Downtown Galena.
Galena is
an upscale tourist Destination near the Mississippi River in
Northwest Illinois. Galena’s historic architecture and JoDaviess
County’s spectacular landscape makes Galena one of the top tourist
attractions in the mid-west. Galena is located in a river valley
with the town situated on streets cut into the bluffs on both
banks of the river. Galena is an art oriented town that attracts
buyers especially from the metropolitan areas for hundreds of
miles around. We will be advertising the festival extensively.
